The Sunset Dragonfly shade sets bands of warm amber against a sky of soft blue, with a ring of dragonflies in filigree metalwork circling the rim, their wings picked out in hand-cut opalescent glass and their eyes set with jewel cabochons. Lit, the amber panels glow like late-evening light; unlit, the blues take over and the shade reads as cool and calm. It is the most versatile of our dragonfly designs and sits as happily with grey and navy schemes as with warm woods.
This floor lamp stands around 168 cm tall on a cast-metal base in an antique bronze finish, with a slender decorative column and a weighted foot for stability. It has a foot switch on the cable and a UK plug, and takes two standard E27 bulbs, so a pair of warm white LEDs gives a generous pool of light beside a sofa or reading chair.
Every Luma Tiffany shade is made from individually cut pieces of stained and opalescent glass, foiled and soldered by hand in the traditional method. Because the glass is natural, no two shades are exactly alike; expect small variations in colour and pattern, which is part of what makes it yours.
