Amber Mission is the quiet one. Straight leading, a hexagonal profile and panels of honey-amber glass with a fine geometric border in the Arts and Crafts manner — no motifs, no jewels, just structure and colour. It suits panelled rooms, mid-century furniture and anywhere the rest of the scheme is doing the talking. The glass throws an even, warm light that is easy to live with every evening.
This is the shade only, supplied without a base or fitting, for replacing a damaged shade or building your own lamp. The rim has a standard fitter that suits our table-lamp and floor-lamp bases and our pendant and ceiling fittings, so one shade can move between fittings. No bulb holder or cable is included.
Every Glass Lamp Co. shade is made from individually cut pieces of stained and opalescent glass, foiled and soldered by hand in the traditional method. Because the glass is natural, no two shades are exactly alike; expect small variations in colour and pattern, which is part of what makes it yours.
