Sapphire Dragonfly layers cobalt, lapis and pale opal blues in the traditional dragonfly arrangement, with clear cabochon jewels catching the light like drops of water. It is cooler and more formal than the amber designs and pairs well with white walls, brass and dark timber. Lit from inside, the paler blues come forward and the shade seems to float.
This ceiling light mounts the shade close to the ceiling on an antique bronze fitting with three decorative arms, a good choice for lower ceilings, hallways and bedrooms where a pendant would hang too low. It takes a standard E27 bulb and needs to be wired to the ceiling by a competent person; the fitting covers a standard UK ceiling box.
